Rust Conversion & Restoration

Turn rust back to steel!

At Catholic Charities, in Commack NY, we performed a miracle of our own; making an aging, rusted exterior stairway look like new!

Rust conversion process:
Rust is treated to reconvert to steel, then primed and finally protected with 2 coats of sealant. A quick, effective and economical solution.

After breaking away the existing fireproofing material from the bottom of the beam, the extent of the rust damage becomes obvious.

The restored beam is now waterproofed, protected from future rust, Class-A fire rated, ready for fireproofing where necessary.
