Helical Pier House Jacking
A shifting foundation may result in structural damage to your home and a loss of your
investment.
Foundation Settling problems include:
- Buckled or bowed foundation walls
- Cracks in foundation walls
- Cracks in exterior walls
- Cracks in brick walls
- Cracks in interior walls & ceilings
- Sunken or buckled concrete floors
- Doors & window that stick
The concept of helical piers is founded on the principle of turning a screw anchor into stable subsoil
strata until the torque applied indicates that the necessary load capacity has been achieved. Several adjustable brackets are then attached to the base of your foundation walls at multiple locations,
connecting the screw anchors to the foundation. The weight of your home is then shifted to the screw
anchors. In the process, foundations, walls and floors are repositioned and retained from further
movement which stabilizes and corrects problems caused by poor soil conditions.
Advantages of Helical Piers:
- Technically superior to other systems
- System & installation are both lower cost
- Faster installation
- Site is minimally disturbed
- No heavy equipment
- Installs in hard-to-access areas
